SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
A reminder about the Special General Meeting being held this week. It would be great to get as many people as we can to this meeting to vote on the proposed rule change. The proposed change is to bring the rules into line with other sporting codes and other rowing organisations. This proposal has the full support of the college Principal and rowing patron, Peter Leggat. The rule change is to ensure the long-term viability of the rowing programme within Onslow College by requiring membership of OCRC, thus ensuring membership recruitment and student participation is maximised. The rule will provide clarity on the route to take if students wish to compete for the school at regattas. We need to get this done prior to the end of season, so we can start next season with certainty. Quorum is 15 members – so one parent from each rowing family would be ideal! Date: Thursday 23rd March Time: 7.30pm Place: Onslow College student Centre NISSC SUCCESS Congratulations to all or our rowers on a very successful NISSC.
