Rowers returning from KR 1
We are expecting our rowers to leave Karapiro at approximately 2pm on Tuesday afternoon. Taking into account stops along the way, that means they might be home as early as 10 – 11pm, but are likely to be home somewhere around mid-night. Olwyn will text squad managers as the journey progresses, and they will update you on timing. Please be at the school promptly, and be ready to help unload the bus when it arrives. Rowers and parents returning on the bus will be very tired and will need all the help they can get! Summer Camp The Information Sheet and Survey Monkey for Summer Camp has now gone out. We have a very tight turn-around on this to meet the school’s requirements. Please can you complete the survey monkey by Wednesday 16 December at the latest. Fees for Summer Camp are $420 per rower – these are due by 30 December and should be paid directly into the OCRC account. When you make electronic payments please put your name in as a reference. If the cost is a problem for you or your family, please contact Raewyn Henderson. Finance Statements of rower's accounts will be sent out within the next couple of weeks and these will highlight any outstanding items to be paid (e.g. coach levy, equipment levy, Ruamahunga), along with the now due Summer Camp fees. Fundraising - Star Wars Movie The rowers are currently running a movie fundraiser based on the much anticipated Star Wars movie coming out next week. Jared handed out numbered tickets to rowers on Tuesday morning– 2 per rower. The cost is $20 per ticket with $9 of that going into your rower’s account. Please make sure the tickets are sold. We have booked a 55 seat theatre. The movie is at 1pm on Monday 21 December at Light House Cuba, entrance from Wigan St. Please pay ASAP to: The Fundraising A/c with your rowers’ name & Star Wars as a reference.
